I gained my first taste of working in the events and entertainment industry by interning at DoLA from January 2019 through April 2019. DoLA is the Los Angeles branch of DoStuff Media and sister company of Spaceland Presents.

 

My responsibilities included researching and creating event listings through the backend and frontend of the site, attending events to cover live on Instagram Stories, drafting event recaps and previews, and posting and interacting with others on several tastemaker Instagram accounts. I assisted in researching influencers and blogs to collaborate with for clients and I also helped initiate PR efforts to share our content pieces with featured brands to improve reach and establish relationships for any future event marketing needs.

My highlights include attending Red Bull Music Festival Los Angeles and photographing T-Pain and FKJ at their concerts.
